The ALDE aim has been to focus on policy outcomes, i.e. to ensure that a policy is delivered which meets the political objectives it has to achieve. Our objective is to make sure that the EU allocates itself the money it needs to achieve the tasks assigned to it and to ensure that the money is accounted for correctly so that EU taxpayers get value for money.

Our decisions aim at ensuring the compatibility with the multi-annual Financial Framework of all Community acts, as well as transparency and efficiency of EU funds.
